Kobbar is a 73 min long creative documentary produced by former artist-in-residence Zhou Yan about the inmates in Kumla prison in Sweden. Kumla is known as the Underground Kingdom. Inside the largest Swedish A-rate prison, the corridors connecting every section are covered with artwork done by inmates with the support from established artists.
The documentary follows Cecilia Jansson – another former artist-in-residence at the Swatch Art Peace Hotel – during her work with the prisoners at Kumla.
